Problem is thére are all sórts of letters ánd numbers stamped ón the barrel só the question bécomes which oné is which Cán anyone tell fór sure where thé DOM letter wouId be stamped Régards, Homesteader. On the barrels right side, by the letters R.E.P. The first two letters werent stamped flush so are only partial but look to be an N(a guess) and a K(pretty sure). The left sidé of the bbI at the actión is stampéd with 3 letters(equally spaced) and a number. I am nót sure on thé 600s.then again I can be completely wrong D.O.M Ive got Richs Mohawk 600. Number 1 was presented to the Governor of Montana and Number 2 was. It is functionally the same as the Model 600 but has a shorter 18.5' barrel. Mine has been the vehicle for many kids in and outside of my family to their first deer. The Remington Mohawk 600 is a classic hunting rifle that was built from 1971 1980.
